We were very satisfied with our stay. Receptionist was welcoming, greeted us by name & provided information on tourist attractions. It was a warm day and the fan was already on in the room. We were 100 % satisfied with the food and the value for money is excellent. We liked most the old style charm blended with modern facilities and we enjoyed sitting on the terrace.
The only thing we were missing was a tea making facility in the room.

Liked most: The room and the roof terrace (although it is raining).
Missed: Spanish channels (owners comment: we are sorry, but we do not have a satellite dish)

Absolutely outstanding! I must say my family and I love this place. We have travelled around Germany and this truly is the best hotel in Germany! Because of the warmth and friendliness here, we will come and only stay here every time we come to Germany. Thanks to all the staff!

Liked most: the fact that the shower doors did not leak, friendly staff. Amazing kürbis crème suppe, salmon, flambé tarte.
Missed: room safe (owners comment: coming 2011)

We have stayed at the hotel for the past 9 years, and find that changes are good, we like the addition of scrambled eggs and smoked salmon.
Missed: Guest Loyalty Card, better pillows (owners comment: we have now a selection of pillows , and our loyal guests get a discount and or a room upgrage)
